Our school holds an Active School Week each year during Term 3.
Our Active School Committee has several meetings in the lead up to Active School Week to plan various activities. Our committee brainstorm all their ideas and then create a timetable of activities for the week. Some of the activities include active lines were the committee lead children in exercises.
Last year we had a Fun Day Friday, where all children enjoyed active games on the yard. Some of the stations included hula hoops, skipping, agility ladders, parachute games and mat exercises. We enjoyed healthy snacks afterwards!
